Yash Vagadia, our 1st XI allrounder who plays for Yorkshire County Cricket Club, this week won the prestigious Professional Cricketers’ Association’s 2023 Futures Award.
The Futures Award encourages candidates to demonstrate what they have been doing away from cricket, highlighting their off-field personal development as part of their future ambitions in life.
Yash, who is 19 years old, is presently studying for a Biology and Chemistry degree at Durham University. He has been applying for law training contracts and has been mentoring prospective medical students.
Mike Gough Senior said : “A big well done to Yash on receiving this excellent award. He has a great work ethic when playing cricket. It’s clear he has the same approach with his off-field exploits too”.
