With James Piper...

Next up on HCC teammates is batsman James Piper and the man who has strongly disputed all the votes he has had for worst trainer so far...

Quickest Player?
Sam Sangero; not much to say about this one as no one else comes close, man is absolutely rapid.

Slowest Player?
Tebbsy; being Sangero’s cousin you would think he would be able to shift, unfortunately it’s quite the contrary...

Most Skillful?
Braithy; I don’t want to make his head any bigger than it already is but he will definitely agree on this one; “I’m ********** mint me!!!”

Safest Hands?
Jakey Rich; not an easy position in the slips but Jake makes it look that way.

Most Intelligent?
Pedro Rhoden; tough one this one but he’s one of the only ones with a bit of common sense and he’s a financial advisor so i’ll give it to him.

Least Intelligent?
Ollie Mole; quite a few candidates for this but Moley grabs this one, that huge head of his certainly isn’t filled with much brain.

Clown of the group?
Dan Shurmer; if he isn’t putting crisps in your pint he is usually putting grass in your helmet, pest!!!

Always Late?
Matty Adamson; would be late to his own funeral this lad, usually forgets his whites anorl!

Most Vain?
Tom Gav; this one is an absolute landslide, sponsored by hair gel and the skinniest jeans he can find, once auditioned for Geordie Shore...absolute melt.

Best Trainer?
Braithy; just absolutely loves cricket, you will usually find him in the nets on his days off getting under arm throw downs from Mike Gough Senior actually.

Worst Trainer?
Tyler Temple; he just never turns up to midweek training and is usually sat eating a salad on a Saturday in the pavilion whilst everyone else is warming up for the game.

Best player ever played against?
Cameron Delport; he only got a swift 30odd against us in the league but he’s had spells in the IPL, Big Bash and not long ago was walloping it about for Essex in the T20 blast, handy player!

Most enjoyable moment at HCC?
Winning the NYSD 15/15’s tournament in 2015 with the 1stXI. It was my first proper season with the 1’s and also as a wicket keeper for them so it was a proud moment. I drove straight from the trophy presentation to newcastle airport and flew to Zante for my first lads holiday, not a bad day at the office.
