Quickest Player?

Sam Sanger, absolute pace machine, would have gave his old man Robbie a good race!

Slowest Player?

Chris Harrison if he still played at the club comfortably, however, current players, I would say Chris Smith (sorry chinos).

Most Skillful?

Alan Tebbett. Once did five shots of sambuca in a row, that takes some serious skills.

Safest Hands?

Easy... Danny Shurmer, safe as houses.

Most Intelligent?

Maxi aka Ian Walker... he’s like a walking encyclopaedia.

Least Intelligent?

Tyler temple.... the lights are on, but no one is at home! he’s that guy.

Clown of the group?

Danny Shurmer! Can’t beat having scampi nik naks put in your trainers while your batting!

Always Late?
Maxi again, used to love rocking up at 12.55pm for a 1pm start.

Most Vain?
Tom ‘Jules’ Gavin.... living in west palm beach Florida for a few years probably caused this. Did you all know he had lived in west palm beach Florida? I’m sure he will give you plenty stories about it if you ask him, just might have to wait until he has finished looking in the mirror first.

Best Trainer?
James piper. Everyone keeps saying he is the worst and he keeps crying about it, so hopefully he stops now.

Worst Trainer?
Tyler temple... barely plays on a weekend let alone train.

Best player ever played against?
At junior level probably Sir Alastair Cook. At senior level Nathan Astle.

Most enjoyable moment at HCC?
Winning the Division 2 15/15’s tournament in 2007. Not sure I’ve ever mentioned it.... Figures of 6/16 including a hat trick, then a half century in the run chase... been rubbish ever since mind.
