Hartlepool Cricket Club are delighted to announce the signing of Kyle Davis. Kyle has been signed from Eppleton Cricket Club, who play in the North East Premier League.

Club legend, Mike Gough, commented on the signing of Kyle : “Kyle is an excellent signing for Hartlepool Cricket Club. He’ll play a very important role in the 1st XI. He’s a highly experienced player who bats in the top four. He’s been a prolific run scorer over a number of years in the NEPL. In 2022 he scored some 743 runs, with a highest score of 94, averaging 43.71 runs. He also bowls medium pace too. In 298 games played, Kyle has amassed 10,247 runs at an average of 46.79, with 73 half centuries and 13 centuries. He has a highest score of 196 not out. Hopefully, he’ll find the batting track at Park Drive to his liking! Drawing on his previous coaching role with Durham Cricket Board, it’s hoped Kyle will also have some input with our Junior Section. He’s an ECB Level 3 Coach. Kyle recently commenced a new job at Woodham Academy at Newton Aycliffe. In addition to his cricketing exploits, Kyle is also a fine footballer, playing football in the Northern League for Billingham Town, alongside our very own Paul Braithwaite!”.
