Hartlepool Cricket Club Over 40s Football Team are celebrating after having won promotion to Division One of the Sunderland and District Over 40s League.

After having played in Division Two since 2015, the Over 40s have finally secured promotion to Division One. Across the 2022-2023 season they have not fallen below third place in Division Two. Their final match is away against Walkergate.

The Over 40s will celebrate their season of success at their Presentation Evening which is being held in the Clubhouse on Saturday, 13th May, 2023. Awards include Players’ Player of the Year and Manager’s Player of the Year Awards.

Which of Middlesbrough and Sunderland, if any, will follow in the Over 40s footsteps and achieve promotion? We’ll find out soon!
