Safeguarding Information

Hartlepool Cricket Club adheres to the ECB’s “Safe Hands Policy for Safeguarding Children in Cricket”. All adults at the Cricket Club who work with children, and meet the necessary criteria, are vetted by the ECB. This includes enhanced DBS and “Barred List” checks. “Safe Hands” can be viewed online at :
https://www.ecb.co.uk/about/policies-and-regulations/safeguarding/safe-hands

If you have any concerns about your child, any other child at HJCC, or if you have any concerns about the behaviour of any adult at HJCC, then please immediately speak with the Cricket Club’s Safeguarding Officer, Kathryn Semple. Kathryn can be contacted on telephone number 07775585980, or e-mail : kathryn.semple@sky.com

Likewise, if you have any concerns about an adult in terms of their personal wellbeing, then please contact Kathryn too. It’s important to stress that safeguarding covers both children and adults too.

If Kathryn is unavailable, (or if you wish to speak with somebody else), then contact can be made with the Durham County Safeguarding Officer : Fiona Holden; 07719071270; and safeguarding@durhamcricket.co.uk
