The 3rd XI play in the Sunday Premier League of the ECB’s North Yorkshire and South Durham Cricket League. In 2020 they were led by wicket-keeper batsman Darren Peek.

In the shortened 2020 season due to Covid-19, the 3rd XI finished 3rd in the league. Going into the final round of matches the 3rd XI were in contention to win the league, marking their best final placing for a number of years. A number of Junior players play in the 3rd XI.

In 2021, Matthew Bowman, (Under 13s Lead Coach), takes over the captaincy of the 3rd XI. Can Matthew lead the 3rd XI to a higher finishing place than third in the league?
